I am a senior experience designer in the San Francisco Bay Area. I find deeper meaning in the work I do through story-telling, whether it's the final design for a mobile app or an interim presentation to convince stakeholders of the importance of human-centered design. Weaving narratives throughout my work aids in building empathy for the customer, while showing executives the person behind the interface. I use story-telling in tandem with the many methods I have in my UX toolbox.
When I'm not designing new experiences for clients, you can find me many places: the local ice rink where I've been playing in a women's ice hockey league for the last 16 years; watching my 3 year old son explore the San Jose Children's Museum with enviable wonder; or deep at work on my latest side project, whether it is a personal essay, a children's book about a family of Zamboni machines, or cross-stitched avatars of our family.
